We want to ensure that our Services (as defined in our Terms of Service) are safe and remain a platform for existing and expecting parents to engage in meaningful, supportive, and respectful conversations.
Please know that if your post, comment, or communication was reported or flagged as violating the following community guidelines, this may lead to the permanent deactivation of your account.
If you see any prohibited or questionable content, please report it to reporting@myshapods.com. We want to keep Mysha a safe space for everyone.
Confidential or sensitive information
Please be thoughtful and exercise discretion about what you choose to share through our Services and with other users. While we aim to create a respectful space for sharing and discussion, we cannot ensure the confidence or confidentiality of communications, including those with other users. When another user shares something in confidence, please be respectful of their privacy. Users who publicize or otherwise misuse information, especially information a reasonable person would deem confidential or private, may be banned from our Services.
Inclusion
Mysha is designed for expecting and new mothers but is open to many people searching for resources and support about pregnancy and motherhood. This includes:
Women who are using a surrogate
Cis and transwomen
Non-binary identified
Illegal activities
You may not use our Services to encourage, promote, facilitate, or instruct others to engage in illegal activity.
Graphic and harmful content
You may not use our Services to post, upload, share, store, or otherwise distribute content that is graphically violent or obscene, sexually explicit, promotes self-harm, promotes terrorist activity, promotes misinformation, or otherwise poses a threat to the public.
Child exploitation
You may not use our Services to post, upload, share, or store content that exploits or abuses children, including but not limited to images or depictions of child abuse or sexual abuse, or that present children in a sexual manner.
Harassment, bullying, defamation, and threats
You may not use our Services to engage in or facilitate abusive, harassing, bullying, threatening behavior, or defamatory or libelous communications.
Hateful content
You may not use our Services to promote, encourage, support, or facilitate hate speech, violence, or discrimination based on race, color, sexual orientation, marital status, gender or identity expression, parental status, religion or creed, national origin or ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental disability, veteran status, genetic information, citizenship and/or any other characteristic protected by law. Organizations or individuals who do any of the above either through their own content or through the distribution of user generated content (whether intentionally distributed or distributed due to the failure to reasonably moderate such content) are prohibited from using our Services.
Intellectual property
You may not use our Services to misappropriate or infringe upon anyone’s intellectual property rights. In particular, please avoid posting or sharing content that is plagiarized from other online sources or printed materials.
Malicious and deceptive practices
You may not use our Services to post, upload, share, or store malicious software, malware, viruses, or other harmful code. You may not use our Services in any way that facilitates "spoofing" or "phishing" or is deceptive, false, misleading, or fraudulent, including impersonating other individuals or organizations or otherwise attempting to mislead others as to the identity of the originator of content or a communication.
Personal and confidential information
You may not post, upload, share, or store content or otherwise use our Services in a manner that is invasive of another's privacy or otherwise violates or compromises another person’s legal rights - such as rights of privacy and publicity, including sharing another’s personally identifiable information, sensitive personal information, or confidential information without the appropriate consent.
Medical or mental health advice
Our Services are not designed for the practice of medicine or issuance of medical or other health-related advice. While you are free to share personal experiences, you are prohibited from advising or counseling other users with respect to these matters.
Recruitment
Our Services are not designed to be a job board or a recruitment platform, and you may not use the Services in this manner. In particular, recruiting as part of an incentive sales program, any content promoting or recruiting for multi-level marketing schemes, or surveys on behalf of third parties is prohibited.
Commercial content and advertising
Content or communications offered or made in exchange for personal gain, such as gifts, services, or money, is prohibited. We reserve the right to reject any URL for any reason. Further, we do not allow any advertising on our Services, which includes: (1) buying or selling products or services; (2) promoting your business or any business in which you may have a vested interest; or (3) promoting commercial events.
Fundraising
We understand some individuals on our Services may be in difficult positions, and that there are often many great non-profits or other causes to donate to, but our platform is not set up to verify or support these kinds of interactions. Accordingly, content and communications related to fundraising are prohibited. This includes any posts or comments about raising money for an individual or cause.
Seeking relationship or arrangement
Mysha is a place to connect with other new and expecting parents and engage in conversations relevant to our platform. We’re not a dating platform, and posts that are seeking dates or other romantic arrangements are prohibited.
Interference with the Services
You may not use our Services to interfere with or otherwise negatively impact any aspect of our Services or any third-party products or services that are integrated or connected to our Services.
Easy to read
Help other users get the most out of your content and communications on our Services by using the correct alphabet for your language and avoiding machine translations that make your content or communications difficult to read.
